Through our advocacy, we strive to uplift and inspire single mothers as they navigate the unique challenges they face, fostering resilience, self-sufficiency, and personal growth. 

MilesStone Nonprofit Org Inc. is dedicated to empowering single mothers by providing essential services and support during times of hardship. Our mission is to offer comprehensive assistance, including housing, legal support, mental health services, job training, childcare, transportation services, and safety programs, ensuring that every mother has the resources she needs to thrive.

We envision a future where single mothers are celebrated for their strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to their families. Our primary goal is to build a community that supports and empowers single mothers, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to achieve their goals and create brighter futures for themselves and their children. By promoting self-sufficiency, personal growth, and a strong sense of community, we aspire to change the narrative surrounding single motherhood and provide a foundation for lasting success.

This mission is inspired by the personal journey of our founder, Tsovinar Marukyan. Nearly 10 years ago after her divorce, Tsovinar faced significant financial, emotional, legal, and social challenges while raising her two children. Through this experience, she gained a deep understanding of the hardships a single mother endures and becomes determined to make a difference. At MileStone, we believe it takes a village to overcome life’s challenges. Tsovinar’s vision is to create that village for the mothers we serve, offering them emotional, physical, and financial support as they navigate and work toward stability and success.
